Christmas Is Coming

Carol arrangement for SATB (1964)

Peter Dickinson was commissioned to make an arrangement of a Christmas carol for a booklet published by Novellos in 1964 called Sir Christemas. He chose ‘Christmas is coming’ and asked Bernarr Rainbow to write two more verses.

The first BBC R3 broadcast was by the King’s Singers on 1 September 1971.
